Q:  What’s happening to the iPad app?

The iPad app is being phased out.  We now offer an Online subscription option that works on all devices (iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets, and laptops).


Q:  Can I keep using the app?

Yes, for a while.  We’ll continue to provide issues through the iPad app into 2017 until all subscriptions are completed, but no new subscriptions, renewals, or back issue purchases are being accepted on the app.


Q:  Can I switch to the new Online subscription and keep the issues I’ve purchased?

Yes, soon.  We’re working on an update that will automatically set up an Online subscription to match the issues you have on iPad.  Feel free to inquire about this by contacting us.


Q:  How do I cancel my iPad subscription ?
You can do this on your iPad or on your computer.  (We can’t do it for you.) See this Apple document for full instructions on how to cancel your iPad app subscription to Airstream Life.

Here’s the short version:

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
  1. On the Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap iTunes & App Store.
  3. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen.
  4. Tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in.
  5. Under Subscriptions, tap Manage. …
  6. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.
  7. Use the options to manage your subscription.


 Q:  I want to free up some memory on my iPad.  How do I remove an issue?
You can easily remove any issue by tapping the (i) icon next to the cover image.  Choose “Remove Issue from iPad” to delete it.


Q:  Can I restore issues that I got for free and later deleted?
Yes, just click the “Subscription” button in the app, and log in again with your email address and zip code.  Any issues you are due to receive for free should become available for download again.


Q: How do I restore issues that I paid for and later deleted?
If you originally paid for an issue, you can download it again at any time at no charge by clicking the “Subscription button” and choosing “Restore Purchases”. If this doesn’t work, try deleting the app entirely, re-installing it, and then restoring your purchases.
